Ceil Chapman Dress

I recently stumbled upon a Ceil Chapman dress, but I do not know much about dress. All I have learned based on the tag is that the dress looks to be from the 50's. I have looked and I have not been able to find many fringe dresses made by the designer that have been listed. I appreciate any help that someone can give.

Oops sorry. Hope you can see the photos now.

I agree it is not your usual style for a Ceil Chapman. Which makes it even nicer! What I can add is that in the late 1950s up to to maybe 1960, there was a brief and somewhat popular 1920s revival, which came from several popular TV shows i.e. The Roaring Twenties in which the star (Dorothy Provine) wore a dress much like that one, also the Untouchables, Pete Kelly's Blues, and maybe one or 2 more. A few theatrical films also, a number of them Gangster films of the 20s, the most popular being of course "Some Like It Hot" in which an obviously pregnant Marilyn wore that famous black fringed number.

So maybe put your dress in that time period. Lets see what the others think.
