Does anyone know if Joy Stevens from “Joy Stevens of Calif” is still alive and how to contact her?
We were good friends in high school together(Uni High/ WLA).

I found this cute colorful piece by Joy Stevens but I can't find much information about this brand.
Also is it 60s or 70s?

In the 70's, I was a road rep for Joy Stevens of Calif. The owner was Ben Stevens and his daughter, Joy, was the designer. They manufactured beautiful, moderately priced dresses, mostly fairly dressy gowns. Most of them were made of slinky fabrics in the nylon family. The company was very successful and Mr. Stevens was a gentleman and a class act. He had a beautiful office with a lot of Gucci stuff everywhere, but spent his time in the shipping room really running every aspect of his business. It was a pleasure working for him. I don't know if Joy is still alive.
