Hello!
I was wondering if there is such a thing as unlabeled Haute Couture?
I recently acquired some lovely things from a gentleman who used to live in Paris. They belonged to his Mother and were stored in a steamer trunk that they used to travel back and forth to the U.S.A. It was the late 1940's and the 1950's.
He told how he used to wait in a Limo with a Chauffeur on Rue De La Paix for what seemed to be hours, while his Mother had her dresses made.
The dress in the front of this picture is made of a heavy flocked satin with a fringed sashed bow. It also has matching shoes.
I would appreciate any information you could give me. If you would like additional information please let me know.
I want to thank-you for your knowledge and time and for providing such a wonderful web-site.
Sincerely,
Kathleen Marinacc
