Little Black Dress...date and...anyone heard of Carol Craig?

Anyone know about those shoulder loops?

 

I haven't seen them before the 50s - anyone else?

Same here re the hanging loops.

Just realized that this dress that I plan on listing
Wednesday is a Carol Craig.




The skirt is wonderful with embroidery and eyelet - looks
very much like Ayrshire work.

This has the Carol Craig New York label.

I adore that dress Barton!

Mine does have hanger loops so...I'm going with early to mid 60's on it.
