From shoulder to wrist, designers are focused on sleeve shapes this fall. Suits and jackets have strong, square shoulders inspired by the padded shoulders of the 1940s and the 1980s power suit. Dresses, jackets and even knitwear sport leg-of-mutton and other unusual, puffed and draped sleeve styles--inspired by eras as diverse as the 1890s, the 1930s and the 1970s. Join the VFG "Arm-y" as we share the vintage styles that inspired this fall's runway creations: dresses, suits and jackets, coats, knits and other clothing items with bold shoulders or unique sleeve shapes.
