Work to Cocktails (1950s - 60s)

Hey there lovely VFGers,

I'm looking for a classy, smart dress OR two-piece suit that's ready to go from office to cocktails.

- spring or summer weight.
- any colours.
- not *too* formal - so brocades, for instance, are probably out.
- 1950s through late '1960s.
- my measurements: about 35-36 bust, 26 (cinched) to 28 waist, 35-36 hips.
- under $200.

You're all coming up with some great options! This is the right ballpark, even if some are little bit too dressy, I've been loving them all.
 
I've got tons of "work to cocktails" dresses, but, unfortunately, very few of them listed now....

Not sure if this one is dressy enough, butis dressier than a typical day or sun dress and would be office suitable with a little shrug or jacket and perfect for accessorizing for cocktails:

The skirt waists on the suit and two-piece dress may be a hair small, but I think both have room to move over the buttons to gain a bit more room... And the two linen pieces were photographed with my old camera and aren't the best shots; can send better ones of needed.

Blue and polka dots are a huge weakness of mine - thanks, Maggie! I totally just bought the dress.

However, I'm thinking I still might want something more officely/suitlike/JackieKennedy/MichelleObama for this event, so if other options arise dear sellers, do keep letting me know :)

I'm not sure if you're still looking, but I have quite a few nice 1960s dresses that would work lovely as office to cocktails ensembles. I have many that are a size medium. You can browse through them yourself here on my official website: <links removed by admin>
