I think you'd be safe with 40s on the first one - maybe late 30s. The second one looks more early 50s to me, but I could be wrong on that.That wing effect is great.

I usually call the first type a percher hat since they aere meant to perch on the head, tilting over the forehead rather than fitting the crown.
