Here's some information about Anokhi. I have submitted the label before, but am now adding a bio, and the label again so it's all in one place

Anokhi was founded in 1970 by a British/Indian couple Faith and J.P. 'John' Singh, in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. It began mainly as an export company, primarily to the UK, specialising in garments and textiles made by local craftspeople, using traditional printing techniques with hand-carved wooden blocks and vegetable dyes. As well as reviving Rajasthan's hand printing tradition, they also use appliqué, embroidery, patchwork and bead work in their designs. In this way they provide a livelihood for local artisans, while ensuring these skills survive. The Anokhi Hand Printing Museum was founded in 2002, dedicated to the art of block printing.

Love this label, very cool hot pants set. Going through all my, not seen in years, inventory and finding some great labels. Could not find much info on this one.

Hi Ludi! Is there a way to get that great Beard & Co label at a larger size? We need the label itself to be at least 500 pixels across. Thank you!

Also, how would you like to be credited in the Label Resource?

I will try to resize it without it being blurry
    No credit necessary

Ludi, it looks like we already have (from you) the George's Factory and Alberoy labels. I've added Beard & Co.

Here is a scarce one. Hubert de Givenchy hat label, early 1950s.

I owned this hat in my personal collection, it now resides in a museum.

I looked a couple of times but did not see where we had the purple Vanity Fair Label. From a leopard print robe/lounge dress

Could be but I think the color threw me off. I have another purple one like this (also leopard) that I know is from 1962. Was my mom's second marriage honey moon set.

Are there any guidelines for including labels? I have several garments manufactured by companies that aren't listed. They are generally good quality items and classic designs so they would have a resale value.
Two I found today were Gertrude Davenport and Mita. I don't know anything about Mita except the garments are nice knock-off knits. Gertrude Davenport manufacturers knit leisure wear and sells primarily mailorder. They are located in Americus, GA which is where I grew up.
If you are interested in odd labels, I'll organize a photo session for them.
