I've had two major life breakthroughs this past month..... first was getting a real article published (my next career life goal....) and second playing piano again - in public. Used to play for chorus/church choir/ events.etc... then somehow 35 years passed on without playing...

Well we gussied up Missy for an afternoon outting ala 1950s mode! What fun. The taffeta is totally electric and I love the irridescense. Didn't have the original dress belt so we added a 30s velvet & deco rhinestone buckle...

well....um....my tired ol eyes can't deal with all the buziness when I'm researching auctions and shopping around...... I find that the more on the page, the less time I seem to spend. Don't really know why... I know the younger generations are accustomed to this quick or multi-imaging...

Well.....I have the same Bridesmaid dress at the shop in a mustard golden color. I even have her homemaid sparkly headpiece and a photo of the bride and wedding party!! (Mine does not have a tie back though, just a plain waist.) Exact same bustline/neckline treatment and skirt. Heavy metal...
Finished the week from H#LL and finally got bookwork accomplished despite a computer file loss!!! Yeah!!!!

Got one of these right in my living room!! I'd say hibiscus (sp?) It grows on a small bushy tree with leaves that shape and big beautiful blooms .... in gorgeous salmon pink.. that only last for a couple of days!
