Hi there,
I was thinking 60s for these, but that's just a semi educated stab in the dark ages of fashion. Is there a way to date such things more accurately? It says "Dominion Canada Precision" on the roller.
Thanks for any help,
Lauren
I've found another possible label this was made for "charles creed" (apparantly the outfit Mata Hari was killed in was designed by his father (according to wikipedia!). Could this be the design house of this purse? I don't see him in the Label Resource.
hi Everyone, I'm wondering if this light blue mark is a dye mark/brand from the sheep. Is this unusual? Also wondering if this is 60s or more into 70s?
Thanks for any help.

Hi There, originally thought this was modern, but I think it might be a 90s or even late 80s? there's no cell phone pocket....I'm really unsure about this one.
Thanks for any help.

Hi Everyone, I have this vest with a Royal Corps of Transport crest and a whole bunch of brass animal pins....rhinos, tigers etc. Any thoughts on dating or if this is someones keepsake and not part of an official uniform? The Corps was formed in 1965 and disbanded in 1993.
Thanks alot
Lauren
Yes Caryn, soft and short. all around the 'pieced' (?) decorative star figure and around other stars. There's an interesting article here: https://www.uphere.ca/articles/darcy-moses-big-bet
Hi Everyone, I'm thinking 1990s from what I've read so far. Originally thought it was much newer but now thinking 90s? Any thoughts?
Also is this sheared and non sheared and dyed beaver?
Interesting bio/story on this Canadian designer!

Looking to confirm that this is a muskrat hat?
Also am I looking at a 60s hat?
Would you consider this a Cossack hat?
Thanks for any input

Hi There everyone,
This purse has an interesting clasp that opens when you squeeze the strap of the looped handle together. Is there a name for such a clasp?
Also, not sure of dating here....thoughts?
Thanks for any help

I've been listing these as panty girdles, but this would technically be a garter, no?
I'm leaning to 50s on this one...any thoughts?
Thanks alot

Don't know about construction but Jonathan's comment re: Pot Pourri (why isn't there a LOL icon??) got me thinking about that hyper feminine 80s floral trend. I wonder if it was a bit of a reaction to the cultural and fashion trend towards androgyny in the late 70s early 80s with it's punk...
hi Everyone,
I have a few questions about this set....sorry about the photos they are not great.....
1. Why is the vest so wide? The skirt has such a tiny waist and the vest seems so disproportionate?
2. What do you call this type of fabric?
