Have a cute 1970s DVF wrap dress in floral rayon/cotton. But it is sleeveless. Anyone know if she designed sleeveless wrap dresses back then? Or was this maybe altered? I did find a photo of her wearing a a dress with the same print, but different style. So at least I have the decade right...
Is pajamas the correct term? Also, I've seen these all over the internet with different dates. Can anyone confirm the actual era these are from? And has anyone ever tried to clean these? This set has what looks like surface dirt.
It's black wool felt but feels like velveteen on the outside. Having trouble dating. Not sure what era that union label was used. Checked the label resource, but still can't narrow it down. Anyone know? 60s or 70s?
Have this pretty beaded and embroidered evening bag. But can't determine what the label says. Many sellers online have listed similar as Marheta or Marketa. Anyone know the correct spelling? Also, I'm thinking 1950s?
I've had these cute t-strap heels for a while and am wondering if anyone has heard of Avant Premiere brand and when they may date to? They're definitely post 70s, but not sure if 90s, 2000s.
Just got around to editing the rest of the photos from my visit to Hillwood Mansion. In my blog post I've included pix of the mansion interior and grounds, along with some other pieces of her wardrobe which are one display inside.
Have a look...

Hi
Trying to figure out if this skirt is late 70s or early 80s. Does anyone know when Gianni Versace would have been designing for this leather company?
Thanks
Theresa
Never saw this kind of detail on a 40's jacket before. Anyone know if the insignia represents anything in particular? Jacket looks like it would be part of a uniform, but the beading makes it too dressy.
Thanks
Theresa
Found this long piece of lace in a box lot of vintage fabrics and I was wondering if anyone knows how to tell how old it is. Also, what type of lace it is.
Thanks,
Theresa
20\'s or 30\'s and what would you call this?
Hoping someone can help date this dress/gown. I'm thinking 30's but the with the dropped waist and almost no natural waistline, very flat in front with no darts looks sort of 20's. Closes with side snaps.
Also, what do you think it was worn for...
Hi All! Haven't been around much, but did finally manage to get married in December. Between that, the holidays, houseguests, etc. I'm just finally trying to get some work done!
Anyway, have this really pretty, well made dress and the label inside says "Perullo, David Hart Inc". Anyone know...
Getting married next week and today when I tried on the shoes with the dress I am wearing, the strap broke. Shoe repair place said no can fix. Hoping someone has a similar pair to sell. Been googling all day to no avail. I'm sure if I wasn't in need, there'd be tons of navy blue shoes...
Hi
Anyone know what kind of fur this is? Person who sold this coat to me thought it was stencilled rabbit, but wasn't positive. Fur is short and very, very soft. Is there such a thing as sheared rabbit? All the markings are shades of brown.
Thanks
Theresa
Blue Velvet Vintage Clothing...
Hoping someone can help with the dating of these two coats. The Pendleton is more of a cape. Also, not sure how to describe the Hermes. Don't think I can call it a trench coat, as it's not double breasted. A raincoat or duster? It's a canvas type fabric.
Thanks...
Anyone out there knowledgable about Pucci dresses? Was very fortunate to come across one from the 60s in great condition. Noticed there is a thin metal zipper that has been hand sewn into the back. Was wondering if that is usual or if it was perhaps a replacement.
Thanks
Theresa

Hi, hoping someone can tell me what to call this type of treatment on this dress. The skirt is made up of four sections that are separated by some kind of open weave stitch. Same thing is on the bodice as well. Is there a name for this or a better way for me to describe?
Thanks
Theresa...
Check out this beauty I just added to my Babylon/VC Mall Site. It's just one out of many party dresses I've brought back from my summer buying trip.
Also, because I'm running out of storage space around here, I've been running a clearance sale on my Tias Mall site. Lots of discounted vintage...
This one was a nightmare to photograph! Just not having any luck with pictures today.
I'm wondering if anyone can tell me if this is 40s or 50s? Feels similar to those St John santana knits, but with metallic threads.
Haven't a clue what kind of yarn this is. Definitely not wool...
Hi everyone! Am finally back from my month long trip to New England and I guess I need to start doing some work. I got a bunch of nice stuff, but I've just been staring at the piles since I got home. Can't seem to get motivated. Oh well, anyway....

Hi
Hope some of of the handbag experts can help with this. Just acquired a cute Enid Collins flower basket purse. Its in pretty good condition but the cream color leather is really dingy looking and there are a some scratches.
What's the best way to clean it up? Is there anyway I can get it...
Would love to keep this cute outfit, but my thighs rejected it! Could anyone tell me what era this is from?
It has gold metallic in the sweater, around sleeves, arms and midriff area. Buttons are textured clear plastic with gold designs. No label. I was thinking maybe 40s, but thought...
Help! Can\'t make out designer name on dress
Can't seem to make out the signature of the designer on this dress. Is it colia glassos, glascos, colin? Whatever. Was hoping someone would recognize it. The label inside has been torn out. Love this dress, though. Very pucci-ish.
Thanks...
Hi, anyone out there who can tell me how old this Jantzen bathing suit is? Also, any guess on what to call this material? It feels almost like a fine terrycloth with a little stretch and has a slight sheen to it.
Thanks Theresa
Blue Velvet Vintage
First of all I'm guessing this is a 70s skirt. Was wondering what opinions are on whether this is worth putting up for sale right now. Does it fit with the hippie look they're showing for spring/summer?
Thanks Theresa
