Amazing sweaters, Linda. I've bought and sold vintage cashmere cardigans for years, but your posting here has inspired me to look for the novelty and intarsia knit sweaters.

MJ - love your matching father and son set. Very nice and hard to find a set.

Mary Maxim patterns are great! The one above is the first MM I've ever found.

Always love this thread. I have always been a cardiganaholic but I also looks at these with a new appreciation.
Thanks Linda for all your finds and fun postings.

Lol that's fab Linda. My mum was a Tupperware lady in the 70s, we still have loads in all those fab 70s colours - bright orange, mint green...

How many sweaters are in your collection now, Linda? This daisy one is so pretty and looks longer than a regular sweater too.

What is the length of the body and arms? it's hard to tell the scale when it's pinned back, but it looks long even for someone tall.

Perhaps it's the mannequin which is misleading us with the size of it...even the arms are looking long.

You have a superb collection, Linda!

They actually have a lot of designers working Catalina at the time, but their main and long time designer was Mary Ann DeWeese before she started with her own brand.

Interesting....perhaps those long ones then are 30s and were meant to be worn with a pleated skirt.

    Those are all lovely examples!

The only 1920's knitted top I have also has really long body/sleeves. Not that I'm saying these are 20's, just it did happen earlier.

Linda, do you repair these when they have flaws or do you leave them as is?

    Great addition!!!

I know what you mean about the Mary Maxims...the ones I've had have always been in great shape.
