Yes, that fluttery papery feeling makes my heart sink :( If you can't use for pattern cutting as too fragile perhaps find a similar paper pattern to give to a seamstress along with the salvaged lace sections. And of course these pictures and original photos if you can get them should be kept...

I've had a rtw dress from the house of worth, label isn't in the resource (mine was capitals with a red 'w' i think) but it did definitely have the grosvenor st, w1 address on it too. I'd agree that it's 60s, but possibly an unrelated worth! really nice top :)
