Hello Everyone,
Wondering if this is technically a Cheongsam with the cross over panels? Also, was thinking 80s/90s but wondering if it's more modern. It's sized XL with 40" Bust and 34" Waist.
Thanks for any help

H Everyone, wondering if this is 50s or 60s and I can't remember the term for this fabric. It feels maybe to be silk? Sorry if this is my second posting, I could have sworn I asked about it but cannot find it in my archived postings!

hi Everyone,
Not sure about this little number. It's 95% polyester and 5% Silk....which is weird to me, but anyway, just wondering where to place this time wise?

Hi Everyone,
Any specific place to put this. It looks on the cusp of the two eras to me, but I'm still often mistaken.
Only label is "Made in Italy"
Thanks for help

Hi Everyone,
I have no idea what this is or if it is modern or not.
I have tried looking up the motto on the buttons and it looks like Clan Na Gael Onna Crelle which I think has something to do with the Irish Republicans....The jacket and vest look just like the "national dress of Scotland"...
Hi Everyone. These are quite short and I haven't photo'd them with the cuffs turned. Any way to date such a traditional thing?
Thanks for any help.

Hi All, this dress has had something removed, a lining? an underlayer?
1.Am I right in 50s or is this later?
2. Also, it feels like a cottony silky organza fabric with a burn out pattern....not sure what it is?
3. Also, the label looks like it may have been resewn on when the inner lining was...
Hi Everyone,
I'm assuming this is 1950s but am a bit confused about the lining. In has been roughly cut out but the remaining inch feels like plastic....were crinoline layers ever made from plastic?
Thanks,
Lauren
Hi Everyone,
Does a shirtdress necessarily have buttons all down the front? WOuld this be a day dress? This one is an 80s I think but I'm not sure if it's 70s? I should add, the sleeve's had an elasticized cuff that gave out.
Thanks for any help,
Lauren
I'm thinking 80s but that swoopy graphic seems to have been his 90s thing? But it looks closer to the 80s labels in the resource.
Not exactly sure.
Any thoughts?
Thanks very much for any help!

Hi Everyone,
The writing on the tag on the inside pocket is completely worn of it's words. Any sense of when this might be from? I'm assuming the A is for Airborne but can't seem to find this particular patch referenced anywhere.
Thanks for any help
Lauren
Hi Everyone, Hope you're Sunday is going well.
I think this is 60s but wondering if it's earlier, or what area of 60s?
Also, is this technically a cloche?
Thanks for any help
Lauren
