Oh you are kidding me, i would love to take lessons again! I played the violin when i was 8 or 9 way before i played the cornet. I would love to get back into it and take lessons again..but to find a violin at a decent price that didn't have moisture damage........ :( arm and a leg!!! Even though i don't play it anymore, i couldn't bear to trade in my Holton for sentimental reasons.

I feel so left out! Where are you all seeing the modeling photos??? waaaaaaa! I wanna play too!!!

Well Margaret, that just means you need to add a link to your fab auctions in your signature line (for those of us - ok ME - who is too lazy to log into ebay and do a search!)
:hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:

In any case, a big welcome to you!! We have another Margaret here too and I am sure she will be along tonight and say hello!! She in the UK so in our eyes that makes her a "night owl!"

Cheers ~ Maureen

I was able to get the label photos and a BIG thanks for the compliment on the label resource. Quite a few people have worked very hard to get it in the current condition. Lately some of our great British posters have contributed so much on British labels. Some wonderful stuff has been added recently, but the work is ongoing and I'm always on the prowl for more great labels!

Thank you for the vote of confidence Diane! Thank you for the warm welcome Maureen!...and thank you Chris, I didn't even know I had such an easy link to my eBay listings. LOTS TO LEARN about computers, vintage clothing, playing the violin, and just about everything!!

Oh my gosh! Your photos are just too fun!!!

Could they be any cuter??? I think NOT!! :bouncy:

How Fun ~ Maureen

:hiya:
Hi Denise! Your pictures ARE super-cute! And I love your fabulous vintage picks. Good luck, I hope to join you as a PowerSeller in the future!

:clapping:

Just having taken a quick look at the links of those who welcomed me here, and I feel humbled even more! So many great angles, words of wisdom and fine threads! <p>I never mind being called Denise Miss C, apology not needed!<p>-Denise, er <u>Margaret</u>

I'm slow, again, but want to say to Bess that your site looks great--you do a good 'home brew'! Also, I continually hear that newsletters are working good mojo for Chris, who mentioned them, and others. I hope to get there. :duh:

Welcome, Margaret! It will be hard to not call you "Denise," though, as I, like (eegads) probably 1000s of others from whom you may not ever hear it, love your auctions and click on them just to admire your amazing photos.

Hello ... I\'m New

Hello ... I'm new to the VFG & new to selling ... so these forums are just invaluable! What a friendly bunch. I live in Cornwall on the English coast & I'll put a link to my site in, just as soon as I've worked out how to do it !!!

This might work ...

Hi Lorraine!!

Welcome over here - I hope you'll have lots of things to show us and/or join in on our (deeply important, research rich ;) ) fun rambling threads.

The bb code is tricky to get used to. You can either use the way the 'insert link' button puts you in automatically:

http://www.marthascloset.co.uk

That is, but without spaces:

[ url = http://www.marthascloset.co.uk ]http://www.marthascloset.co.uk [ / url ]

Or enter it as your signature in regular html, that is:

< a href = "http://www.marthascloset.co.uk" > http://www.marthascloset.co.uk < / a >

(hoping that shows up)

It's a great site! Whereabouts are you in Cornwall? I'm afraid I only have a superficial tourist's acquaintance with Falmouth and Padstow...

Lin
